Have your wedding dress professionally altered to fit you on your special day!
All wedding dresses I’ve ever seen are cut very long so that all sized people can wear them. A reputable seamstress or the in-store alterations service can hem your dress. The only exception would be if there is an overlay with lots of beading and fancy work – then you would have to have it ordered to the correct length via what they call “hem to hollow.”
There are long-sleeved dresses available from many designers. David’s Bridal also has sleeve options of all variations that can be attached to any strapless dress.
As for color, if you want to wear white go for it. If you’re concerned about propriety, think about a dress that has a bright color accent that you like. It breaks up the white and is very in right now.
